Procedural Writing
This week we had to write instructions for 'How to make a six brick structure". Mrs Dinniss reviewed what is needed in this type of writing.
1. A title about what we are writing about
2. Materials or ingredients (detailed instructions of amounts or in this case colours of bricks)
3. Step-by-step explicit (word of the week) details.
We learned very quickly that the editing process was our friend as what we wrote wasn't always what we meant.
