Sunday July 24th 2022 Week 1 Term 3 2022 Welcome back to Term 3 I hope that despite the poor weather you had a great break.   I am looking forward to a great term, especially with the production being performed at the end of the term. Children from Year 4-6 will be required to wear a mask again this term during class, mass/liturgies, singing and Kapa Haka. Please ensure that they have spares in their bags in case they break a strap or lose them. Many students have named their masks which make for easy identification. Please also ask your child if they have working headphones, these are a very important part of our online learning. We still had many students without or broken headphones. Please bring back your reading logs back in by Wednesday if you have misplaced the original just do your log on another piece of paper. Let's get 100% returned again this term. Bonjour Whānau ,  I have safely arrived in Canada and spent the most wonderful day with my family at my family farm.  A huge thank you to Mrs. Trask who has taken on Room 12 for the last week of this term. Please if you have any questions you can contact her on janet@stmarysrotorua.school.nz Huge thank you to all the parents, grandparents and Aunties who were able to come and celebrate our Matariki breakfast and look at the children's work. It was lovely for the children to showcase their learning and  make some really lucky people a coffee. Monday - Please bring your Library books to exchange so that you have new ones for the holidays. I am already half way through my book. Let’s make it two pizza parties in a row and aim for 100% again. Mrs Trask will send home the holiday reading sheet but you can also write down on a piece of paper.    Wednesday is the principals morning tea for a couple of kids from each class.  Have a wonderful break and we will see you in term 3.
