Week 5 Classroom Activities

What a week this is turning out to be, we have a few kids out due to being covid house contacts. We have also had Shrove Tuesday where we made pancakes and wrote our Lenten promises. We then burnt them inorder to have father bless the ashes that we used to start Lent today. We will be starting swimming tomorrow, the pool is heated so we need all kids in the pool learning the basics swimming skills. If your child doesn't have a note from their parents they will be given spare togs. Our procedural writing has being taking form and will be tested tomorrow when we make toast based on our writing. Students have asked to make pizza and write out their recipies but at this point in time we will have to do that later in the year. The kids in our class have created some very cool clubs that they are offering to the students of St. Marys.
