Week 11 Term1 2022
Well, that term went fast! Term 1 has been an 11-week roller coaster - thanks to covid. Yet through all of this we have become a great team in Room 12. Mrs. Hunter commented that she was excited to come back into our classroom for a day as she also saw how special the CREW of Room 12 are. I am sorry that I was unable to come watch sports this weekend but don't worry you will see me. On the flip side, the weather was amazing and I have been able to see my boys doing what they love, rugby and dog training. My oldest spent a couple of days in hospital (Friday and Saturday), he is now doing much better thanks to Penicillin and fluids.
This Weeks Learning
Literacy: Report Writing - we will be finishing our reports about animals. We have been very excited about our research and we are looking forward to putting it all together in a report.
Numeracy: We are continuing to build our knowledge of place value. We will also look at how we can collect, sort, display and analyze information (statistics). We are stepping it up a little every week.
Religious Education: Holy Week. We will be doing lots of work based on the Holy Week stories.

We decided that we needed to celebrate the end of term with a class party. The kids will complete some statistical investigations about what we should do and eat.
I will organize the cake and the activities but if families are able to provide a small (healthy-ish) plate of food to share with the class that would be great.
